Swimwear is notoriously difficult to but in the Autumn/Winter and lets face it, there isn’t much choice either! If you’re lucky enough, you may be able to get a bikini or swimsuit in the last of the summer sales.
But if you’re struggling to find some last minute swimwear, here’s a collection of my personal favourites that are readily available to purchase in the UK.
The White Swimsuit
You can’t go too wrong with a white swimsuit in my opinion. Its a classy look, white can make you look more tanned and you can accessorise it with any colour.I like to pair it with black for a monochrome look.
This might be more for sunbathing and a quick paddle in the pool, rather than swimming. Always do a wet test at home as white is notorious for going see through!
The Black Bikini
I love this bikini from River Island. The racer back lace detail on the back of the top is beautiful and unique. As for the bottoms, granted – they are pretty plain… but if you already have some black bikini bottoms you could just pair them with the top and save yourself some money!
Price: Top £24.00 & Bottoms £14.00. Total £38.00
The Sequin Bikini
Coz who doesn’t want to be a mermaid, right?
This bikini is available in blue or silver sequins and is certain to catch everyone’s eye in the sun!
Price: Top £15.00 & Bottoms £13.00. Total £18.00.
The Tassel Swimsuit
What’s not to love about this swimsuit? It’s fun, bright and summery! I love the draped sleeves and the deep v neckline.
The only potential downside is that the sleeves could become a little annoying and restrictive if you’re in and out of the sea, or perhaps at a water park.
The Yellow Bikini
If you’re looking for something a little brighter, this is a great option. Its also a cheaper option. I love the bikini bottoms.
Boohoo offer a mix and match deal, so if you didn’t like the style of the top or bottoms, you could switch for a different style.
Price: Top £8.00 & Bottoms £8.00. Total £16.00
The Crochet Bikini
Dare to Bare? This bikini comes in nude/beige and it has pretty crochet details. I would be careful wearing this one in the water though! Maybe its more for the sun worshiper than the swimming enthusiasts…

The Tropical Bikini
This is a cross strap style bikini top with tanga style bikini bottoms. The pink and green tropical print is perfect for a sunny getaway.
Misguided also offers high-waisted bikini bottoms or a sport style bikini top in the same print if you’d prefer.
Price: Top £10.00 & Bottoms £6.00. Total £16.00
The Red Ruffle Swimsuit
This swimsuit comes in a lovely shade of red. It has a deep v, ruffled neck line and a low back with cross straps. This would be perfect paired with red lipstick and some gold sandals.

The Plus Size Swimsuit
I was dissapointed to see that most of the plus size options were plain black or dark colours. I did find this one on Asos which I think is lovely. The shape is nice and I love the mesh neckline. I wouldn’t exactly have called the model plus size, but hey!

The Maternity Tankini
So during my research for this blog post, I’ve discovered that maternity swimsuits are rather limited and are mostly plain, but I did find this tankini, which i think is really pretty and it will help to support your little bump as well!
Price: Takini £24.00 & Bottoms £16.00. Total £40.00
I hope you like my picks!
